About Pam Owen

A journalist, photographer, and lifelong conservationist, I love nature, good books, great food, anything that makes me laugh, my dog, a steady income (whatever that is), and dirty martinis.

As a certified Virginia Master Naturalist, I get to put my interest to work on volunteer projects and learn through training offered by my chapter, Old Rag Master Naturalists, and other partnering organizations.

I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the border of Shenandoah National Park and can't think of any other place I'd rather be.
